Kate makes her first-ever television appearance in a disused tram depot in
West Germany, for the famous Bio's Bahnhof on WDR-TV. She sings Kite live, backed
effectively by the KT Bush Band, and Wuthering Heights to a backing tape. The
backdrop, which is supposed to represent the Yorkshire moors, includes a
volcano. Following her performance the host, Dr. Alfred Biolek, carries on an
entirely one-sided onstage conversation with Kate--in German.
